The comission was for a glass wall in 14 parts. On one side of the wall is a working area for the personel. On the other side is a waiting room for the patients. The staff should be able to see what is happening in the waiting room at the same time the glass should provide some protection for patients at the counter and for the staff office area
The material is double weight laminated glass. Opti white is used to make the colours more vibrant The originals for the laminated pictures are watercolour combined with photo--graps.Some parts of the glass is frosted to make the two poems of Karin Boye stand out. Karin boye was a famous poet who lived in the area where the hospital is situated.The picture shows a sketch.
There are four additional glasses that will separate a waiting room for children from the rest of the waiting room.
